This restored 18th-century farmhouse is located in the small village of Couzou in Southwest France. Just a few kilometers from the Dordogne River, Couzou sits atop an ancient limestone plateau and boasts breathtaking views in every direction.

The house is very spacious and furnished with style and flair. On the main floor is an inviting French country kitchen with breakfast table. This leads to a large salon with an old stone fireplace, exposed beam ceilings, a sitting area, and a dining area seating 8-10 people. Also on this level is a bathroom with large shower and WC. There are lovely tile floors throughout, and all stonework and crepie have been masterfully restored. Stairs at either end of the house lead to a lovely master bedroom suite with a king size bed and large bathroom with bidet, double sinks, and bathtub/shower. On the second floor are two additional bedrooms – one with 2 twin beds, and the other with 1 twin bed. Surrounding the house is a pleasant lawn area and stone terrace under an arbor of grapevines. The rear of the house looks out onto an expansive view of the hills of neighboring Rocamadour, which, along with being one of the most well-known towns in the region, is one of the most picturesque.

Next to the main house is a two-story guesthouse with sitting room, kitchenette, and two spacious bedrooms, each with 2 twin beds. This guesthouse contains a large shower, sink and WC on the mezzanine level and a washer and dryer in the basement/laundry room. There is also a large, airy studio with an upright piano.

The property is just a short drive from the larger village of Gramat where cafés, shops, and open-air markets easily provide a day’s worth of activity. It’s a wonderful vacation rental for family and friends, and a perfect place to relax and enjoy this historic region. how to get there Vacation home in Couzou, France rates and reservations contact us couzou and its environs tour the property basic info home
